Clipboard History

Clipboard History lets you browse, search, star, and reuse recently copied content in Sliprail.

Privacy and Recording Settings

Clipboard History is disabled by default and records nothing until you enable it in Settings > Extensions > Clipboard History.

After the extension is enabled:

  • Text history is recorded automatically
  • Record copied files is off by default and must be enabled separately
  • Record copied images is off by default and must be enabled separately
  • The retention period can be changed in the extension settings

Sliprail limits a text item to 32 KB, skips a file copy containing more than 100 files, and keeps at most 5,000 history items.

How to Use

  • Run ManageClipboardHistory to open the full history manager
  • Run SearchClipboardHistory, press Space, and select an item to copy it again
  • Star important entries in the manager to keep them at the top and exclude them from automatic age-based cleanup
  • Delete individual entries from the manager or from a launcher's result context menu

Filters

After activating SearchClipboardHistory with Space:

  • :image shows image history
  • :text shows text history
  • :file shows file history
  • :image:keyword, :text:keyword, and :file:keyword search within a selected type

Cloud Sync

Clipboard cloud sync is disabled by default. Enable Clipboard History in Settings > Cloud Sync when needed.

Only text history is synchronized. Copied images and files remain on the device where they were recorded and are never uploaded as Clipboard History cloud data.
