Snippets

The Snippets extension stores frequently reused text and copies it to the clipboard when selected. It is useful for email templates, code fragments, meeting notes, and other text you paste often.

What You Can Do

• Store up to 1,000 text snippets
• Search snippets from the launcher
• Add selected snippets as top-level shortcuts
• Copy a snippet from the launcher or manager
• Reorder snippets in the desktop manager

How to Use

• Run SearchSnippets, press Space, and continue typing to filter snippets
• Press Enter on a result to copy its content to the clipboard
• Run ManageSnippets to create, edit, delete, reorder, or copy snippets
• Mark frequently used snippets as shortcuts for one-step copying from the launcher

Managing Snippets

Each snippet contains:

• Name - The label shown in Sliprail search results
• Content - The text copied to the clipboard
• Shortcut - Adds the snippet as a top-level launcher command when enabled

Use descriptive names and remove unused items before reaching the 1,000-snippet limit.
