Window Switching

Sliprail brings searchable window switching into the launcher. Instead of cycling through a long Alt+Tab list, type part of a window title or app name and switch directly to the result you want. To arrange or control the foreground window, see Window Management.

Core Features

Instant Search

Open the launcher and start typing part of the window title or app name. Results update as you type so you can narrow the list immediately.

Fully Keyboard-Driven

The entire workflow stays on the keyboard. Use the arrow keys or Tab and Shift + Tab to select a result, then press Enter to switch windows.

Smart Sorting

Sliprail places recently used windows near the top, helping the windows most relevant to your current work appear sooner.

Advanced Settings Options

Select Advanced in Settings to find the following option:

• Show open app windows - Enabled by default. Turn it off if you do not want open windows to appear in launcher results.
