Introduction

Fengcen ("we," "us," or "our") provides Sliprail and related services, including the Sliprail website, desktop application, integrated Nora AI features, cloud features, account and billing features, and customer support (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use the Service.

Some Sliprail features run locally on your device. Other features, especially account, subscription, cloud, sharing, and Nora AI features, require information to be processed on our servers or by third-party providers. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

We may collect information that you choose to provide, including:

• Account information, such as your email address, display name, and other information associated with your Fengcen account
• Subscription, order, transaction, and credit-related information, such as purchase records, subscription status, billing status, and usage records
• Communications you send to us, such as customer support requests, feedback, survey responses, or other messages
• Content you choose to submit through online features, such as AI prompts, uploaded files, images, screenshots, shared conversations, synced settings or content, and other materials you submit while using Nora or other cloud features

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you use the Service, we may automatically collect:

• Technical and device information, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, app version, device identifiers, crash information, and diagnostic logs
• Usage information, such as the features you use, access times, models selected, credit consumption, interaction frequency, sync status, and basic performance metrics
• Website cookies and similar technologies used for authentication, security, preference storage, analytics, and website functionality

1.3 Information We Do Not Automatically Collect

We do not automatically collect the contents of your local files, screenshots, clipboard items, camera or microphone data, or continuous keyboard input just because Sliprail is installed.

Such data is only transmitted when you actively choose a feature that requires it and intentionally submit, capture, sync, or share the relevant content, such as Nora conversations, file analysis, AI screenshot workflows, cloud sync, shared links, or support submissions.

1.4 Nora AI and Third-Party Providers

When you use Nora or other online AI features inside Sliprail:

• Your prompts, uploaded files, images, screenshots, conversation content, and related metadata may be transmitted to Fengcen servers and to third-party providers that help us process your request
• These providers may include AI model providers, hosting providers, search providers, payment providers, and tool providers you connect through supported integrations
• Fengcen does not use the specific content you submit to AI features to train Fengcen's own AI models
• Third-party providers process data according to their own terms and privacy policies, and their retention or usage practices may differ from ours
• Even where a feature is described as temporary, ephemeral, or non-persistent on our side, we cannot guarantee that a third-party provider will not retain records under its own policies

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, authenticate, and secure the Service
• Enable local and cloud features, including Nora AI, syncing, sharing, subscriptions, and billing
• Process purchases, manage subscriptions, handle credits, and maintain usage history
• Respond to support requests, feedback, and other communications
• Monitor reliability, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve performance and user experience
• Develop, maintain, and improve existing or new features using feedback and aggregated, de-identified, or statistical usage information
• Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect the rights, property, or safety of Fengcen, users, and others
• Send service-related notices, billing reminders, security alerts, updates, and other important communications

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

3.1 Service Providers and Infrastructure

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Service, such as hosting, storage, analytics, payment, customer support, and security providers. These providers may access information only as reasonably necessary to perform services for us.

3.2 AI, Search, and Connected Tool Providers

If you use Nora, AI screenshot, web search, MCP, or other connected features, the content and data required to fulfill your request may be sent to the relevant third-party providers that power those features.

3.3 Sharing Initiated by You

If you choose to create a shared link, publish content, collaborate, or otherwise disclose content through the Service, the information you choose to share may be accessible to other people who receive that content or link.

3.4 Legal, Safety, and Business Transfers

We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

• Comply with law, regulation, legal process, or valid government requests
• Enforce our agreements and protect the security or integrity of the Service
• Detect, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, security issues, or illegal activity

3.5 With Your Consent

We use commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Some Service data may be stored on servers located in the United States. In addition, third-party providers you use through the Service may process data in the jurisdictions where they operate.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain accounts and subscriptions, process transactions, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, comply with legal obligations, and support security, backup, and recovery needs.

Information that you keep only on your local device may remain only on that device unless you choose to upload, sync, share, or otherwise transmit it.
